And I was planning to attend tomorrow to take pictures and hang out but some changes in my schedule look like I might not be able to make the two hour drive as early as planned which would result in me showing up for the end of the event. So looks like its not going to work out :/

since waking up shit isn't looking good for me right now, this headache i've had for 5 days is only getting worse. can't get out of bed today and trying to see if the nerve block can be done after hours at my specialist. if not i'll probably have to go to the hospital. ****.

not as precise as scoped mini 14 on a bipod, but it's definitely deadly for the orange targets. ... yes, those are swimming goggles

I know it's late, but I'd still suggest teams on the waiting list show up.. because you just never know who may bail at the last moment.

Well it looks like I'll be packing guns in stead of lawn chairs. Hopefully I can get my wife up early enough to make it (if there are any openings). I'll be seeing you guys one way or another.

If I am not mistaken there were a couple of walk ons or adhoc teams.. I didn't quite catch the story of where Atmay's partner came from.

Great thank you to all organizers who put this event and had to think/worry about all the details and Alex kicking off the original inspiration. From my perspective it was a great success. It's an awesome opportunity to get in shape, test your gear/arms under stress and strive to do better. It was interesting, it was fun and I'm better off for coming out. I'm definitively recommend this to everyone, human and German Shepherd.
Great thank you to all volunteers, for your time, knowledge and effort. This is how more people get into this sport. The BP station was great, not a lot of people shoot them, so I hope more will try, that's classic.

The biggest problem was running out of bacon, but everything else was super delicious, so I guess it's not too bad.

2012 has been a fun year for me, and 2 NES shoots top that list, this being one of them (other is the excruciathalon...thx Atmay). I'm uber glad that this format of competitions is gaining traction and popularity. As said, where else can you put yourself and your gear to the ultimate test and have a blast? Thanks again to the Club for hosting this and the volunteers and organizers who dedicated uncounted hours and personal $$$ to put this on!
My only expectation for the winter edition is that it will raise the bar once again. Given the crop of great people on this board I have no doubt they will come thru!
Personal suggestions---longer distance, harsher pt, more diabolical and sadistic stations. Shooting was perfect. Shooting standing totally equates most rifles, brilliant!

Poppycock! We brought a photogenic dog and two people were in ghillie suits, effectively obscuring their unattractiveness!
Many thanks to Morgan and Joe for spearheading this and to all the fantastic volunteers they conned into this. The event was tons of fun and was very well run in my opinion. Also there was bacon!

i'm sorry i couldn't make it and at such short notice. hasn't been much fun in bed for the past two days, couldn't keep any food down today until just an hour or so ago.
