I almost took one home last night. It took all my self control to not whip the Visa out.I might have to grab a M&P 45 if they do make them available.

Unnecessary unless it is a SA pistol.Anyone have thoughts on safeties (or lack thereof) for a carry gun?
Any word on a Ma**h*** legal M&P15?
I'd expect the retail version to go for 1300ish...

Geez! I'll get a Bushy instead!
Yeah, of course a BM is going to be cheaper- they don't even
make a rifle with a fully railed forend anymore. They used to
make the modular carbine, and that cost... guess what, $1200!
Yes, all the extra stuff does increase the cost, unless the foreend
the vendor uses is a total POS.
So yes, of course you can get a BM (or any number of other
vendors) rifle for far less than that- but you're going to end up
with a non railed fore-end.

Mike I agree with you. The first thing I plan on doing once I get the BM is to put some rails on it. The rails + the BM end up costing around $1200 anyway. So get the BM+rails or wait and see if S&W puts out a Mass legal M4 type carbine. I'm partial to the non collapsible collapsible looking stock as opposed to the solid stock. I think it looks cooler.
