How difficult is it to obtain a non resident Connecticut LTC? Does it help in any way to have my MA LTC which I do? Trying to find out the process but can only find the process for resident LTC. Thanks.
Just submitted my CT Non-Resident renewal yesterday by mail. Will update the time line.
I did the Mass Firearms School CT class and it is helpful as they do your prints, notarize everything, and walk you through all the intricacies of the forms. Worth it IMO if you dont want to drive to CT or run around doing all that yourself.
What did they say when you called them to check in about the delay? This is a renewal. All of that has been done. This is 100% bullsh!t.
Me too, you'll need fingerprints and Ma. LTC and notary if I remember. Mine was about 10yrs ago,I did mine all through the mail back in 2016. Didn't have to go to Middletown.
Call and ask. I did that for ME and they said fine, just send us a copy of your NRA Instructor cert.Does anyone know if they’ll accept my instructor credentials in place of the NRA Basic Pistol course cert? I have no idea where my NRA BP cert is...

Your permit is still good for 180 days after expiration just an FYI
So, my permit just came in the mail today. Unbelievable!! They still haven't cashed my check. You can't make this up.
