Does anyone really think the NYSP will case? The term "Police force" contains the word force for a reason - policing is about using force to compel the manner of behavior the state dictates. I expect the NYSP will take this about as seriously as the IRS takes declarations that wages are not income and therefore no taxes are owed on them
