I think we probably have a lot more there than realized- of course the problem is that their shitty ideologies jail and hold them hostage to antis politically because they won't put the 2nd above everything else. Many of them cannot see the forest through the trees. Much of the "pro gun left" if you want to call it that is often more concerned about crap like subsidized healthcare and public schools- none of which will mean a damned thing if their "friends" running the show end up getting their way in the long run.
What use is good healthcare and schooling if you have to live under an authoritarian state? People don't get it. [sad2]

I was actually hoping that they would be on our side now. Seeing some of the crap that they have supported in the name of civil rights, I kept an open mind and believed that they would now be an ally in the wake of the Heller case.
It would have been great to see them use their effort and resources to take up some of the cases that could open up since Heller.
I hope for a lot of things, most don't come true.

Agreed, and now I know their is nothing liberal about the ACLU, just communist, and anti-american.
Anyone who doesn't really know what the ACLU is and how it was founded only has to do a cursory search to get their history.
Their support of NAMBLA is enough to turn any rational adult's stomach. It is beyond me that any thinking person believes they want the best for this country or its future.

Wow... those comments are amazing. I only read to comment #17 or 18... but talk about refreshing. And I don't just mean it's refreshing that people are standing up for the 2A. It's refreshing that most if not all of the comments were very well written, used correct grammar, and were succinct and to the point. It is clear that the posters are intelligent.
None of the casual "Yo, that's wack. LOL. Guns Kill!" or "The 2A's an individual right! Go F Yourselves!" as is so plastered all over the internet these days.
