Glock haters are gonna hate.
Like many things 2A-related in MA the real problems are the rats and snitches among us, and the lack of options for those who need help when the heavy hand of the state comes down. The first can be addressed by shining the light of information into the dark corners exposing those such as
Stoney Acres and
New Mart Promotions. From there boycotts and other actions can flow.
For the second, Comm2A has done a great job in taking on the legal/illegal aspects of gun rights, but AFAIK they don't have the mission of providing direct legal support to people and businesses facing immediate legal issues. Yes people can call an individual lawyer, but that gets expensive quickly, and results may be inconsistent with larger goals of fighting the gun-grabbers. Few people want to be a test case on their own nickel, and not every lawyer is wired to take on test cases.
The home-school abduction thread has me wondering how big the market is for an organization like HSLDA for gun owners and gun businesses: Someone a law-abiding business or person facing gun-related legal issues and threats can call, and get prompt, competent advice. A group that will support individuals in fighting this kind of governmental blackmail.
I see ads for something like this on FB, but don't remember the name. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Are they any good? What's their actual business mode? Do they operate in MA?
