Mass. Gov. Patrick outlines new gun control bill

I think we all need to get back to the fact that any free man should have the right to sell his property to any other free man. Every free man has the right to own firearms. And, if there is a man that is such a threat to society that he can't own a firearm, he needs to be in jail. Because we all know that firearms laws do nothing to stop violence.

Background checks, prohibited persons, magazine limits, AWBs, FA10s, One gun a month, cool down periods. None of it prevents violence.

If you agree with any of it, you are the problem. You are not the solution.

Patrick’s bill would also:

— Require private gun sales to occur at the business of a licensed dealer so that the sale can be tracked electronically; all transactions are filed on a fa10 and sent to state now or filed electronically on the e-fa10......(un-

— Prevent the furnishing of a machine gun to any person under the age of 21;
so the military will issue semi autos to under 21 ma residents??

— Establish tiered punishments for possessing different weapons on school property and give police the authority to arrest without a warrant in order to quickly diffuse a dangerous situation on school property; sooooooo since when do we need arrest warrants if you find someone with a weapon...or is so they can search you at your college and break your 4th amendment rights too

— Create the crime of assault and battery by means of a firearm, assault by means of a firearm, being a felon in possession of a firearm and commission of a violent misdemeanor while in possession of a weapon;why don't we just procecute the crimes we have on the books now

— Increase the authorized minimum penalties for third and fourth offenses of illegal possession and carrying of firearms, shotguns, rifles and machine guns, and increases the maximum punishment for a second offense. they plea them down anyways
 
Not only is the man totally dysfunctional and delusional!
He's also dumber then a box of rocks![sad]

Here he is after lying to a bunch of kids (my daughter) about making ATV illegal for them to ride. He flat out lied to them, what's to say everything coming out of his mouth is a lie.

Yes let's "have a fact based debate" and "avoid the same slogans and rhetoric", unless it's about gun control...right?
 
Either he's not going to battle it full on because he needs MA citizens to accept a tax hike, or he's going to try to slide something through quietly.
