Man arrested after his gun goes off inside Walmart

Since this happened in AZ, there's only a 50% chance that he was actually concealing his firearm at any time....

Regardless, this guy is a numbskull of epic proportions. Did the brady bunch pay him $50 or something to touch off a gun in a store? That's how dumb this is.

Yeh, I know about open carry in AZ...it was more his constant fidgeting with the darn thing that amazed me. The comment about concealed carry, had more to do with the rest of us, than AZ folks.

This was in AZ which is an OC state. I've never looked into it, but i thought you couldn't ccw.

Not an excuse for the guy, just saying he may not have been concealing.
Arizona has had concealed carry for years, though you may carry openly with or without a license if you wish.

They have had CC for yrs but they just voted to be the third state to not require a permit for it.

Jeff Cooper always was a big advocate of the surprise break!

Reminds me a bit of the death of Terry Kath, of the band Chicago. Add to those famous last words, "Don't worry, guys. It isn't even loaded. See?".

Strange things happen in this world. Things you just cant explain.

Baby what a big surprise
Right before my very eyes

They changed the law in AZ so you can now carry concealed without a permit.

Fixed it for ya.

That's actually really big news [smile], also here: http://www.northeastshooters.com/vb...97597-Arizona-passes-Constitutional-Carry-law.
Go AZ! I spend 1/12 of the year there and it's a pretty nice place (until now MA license was acceptable, now not necessary).

Businesses in AZ can post signs restricting firearms and they actually carry legal weight. Costco, for example has multiple signs per entrance/exit in AZ.

and again....

But ceiling tile vs 100M dead from the liberal socialists? I'll take my chances with this idiot... [laugh]

That's the truth right there.

some one has to say it.... it was probably a Glock.

I'm a Glock guy, and I'll admit, when I first saw the title of the thread I thought I was going to read about another diagnosis of "Glock leg."

I was also reminded of this WalMart shooting.

Bizarre. Who fiddles with a firearm in the middle of a public place?

Plaxico Burress. [wink]
