I shot rifle outside yesterday for an hour. Covered firing line so at least the benches are not in the sun.Any hardos go shoot outside this weekend? 85 degrees is probably my cut off point. Do people in the South just stop shooting in the Summer or do they all go to indoor ranges with AC?

Maynard isn’t.
OP, you are too far south, the indoor range at Andover Sportsmen's Club DOES have an A/C unit
Damn all that cement made it an icebox. Thankfully the bar after the matches fixed that.in the summer...absolutely not.
In the winter...exceedingly so. lol
Yeah, it was hot. The traffic getting back onto the Cape Saturday afternoon sucked worse though.Any hardos go shoot outside this weekend?
At least its cool in the heat and warm in the cold, and accessible 24 hrs. Its not perfect but better than nothingThere’s an AC....I wouldn’t say it’s an icebox there.

you cannot ventilate and cool the air to same ends. a range needs to prioritize ventilation, thus on cold days it should be cold on the range and vice versa. if ifs a dry 68F on your range its probably got shit for ventilation.

I’ve shot for years there. It’s not only loud.I shoot on thew pistol team and I usually take position 8 which is right next to the incoming air. Last year during indoor matches I had snow coming in on me...lmao..

I didn’t because we went up to Winnipesaukee for the weekend but I would of if I had nothing going on. I luv shooting in the blistering heat, there is nobody there and I got the whole range to myself. I also luv shooting in the freezing cold dead of winter, I got the whole range to myself.Any hardos go shoot outside this weekend? 85 degrees is probably my cut off point.
