My uncle actually made the set for me as a gift but still a good learning experience for meWell done.
It's a wood called jatoba i think it's also called Brazilian cherryLooks real good.
What is that... walnut... cherry... something else?

Jatoba is a pretty good tone wood.
I'd like to see a laminated set for his next project... for that more 'traditional' look.
Even the jatoba is pretty dense and heavy you can feel the difference in the stockI'm torn , I'm getting parts for a build and a part of me wants Russian red stocks or high end laminated . But the wood I'd use would weigh a ton weng and Purple Heart .
