It's a wood called jatoba i think it's also called Brazilian cherry

I'd like to see a laminated set for his next project... for that more 'traditional' look.

I'm torn , I'm getting parts for a build and a part of me wants Russian red stocks or high end laminated . But the wood I'd use would weigh a ton weng and Purple Heart .

Even the jatoba is pretty dense and heavy you can feel the difference in the stock
