So its the holiday season, I'm not married, no kids, no girlfriend this year so I want to buy myself something nice this year. Looking to spend about 400-500, firearms related of coarse.

Here is my collection so far:

AR15 5.56mm A2 configuration -also have ciener 22 kit
Ar15 5.56mm M4 configuration with eotech and 3x
Marlin 1894 Lever action 357
M1 Garand 30-06 from CMP
AK 7.62x39 Romanian
HI point carbine 9mm with bushnell sight
Ruger 10/22 LTR
Ruger 10/22 with heavy barrel and nice scope
Stoeger STF 3000 12g o/u -cheapo skeet gun
Mossberg 500 12g 28"
S&W M&P 9mm full size
Walther PPS 9mm
Walther P22

I have what I consider a decent supply of ammo on hand for each caliber firearm. I understand many of you have thousands upon thousands of rounds on hand, so I could just stock up.

I was thinking I could use a revolver, a 1911, a nice bolt action rifle, a 22 target pistol, a 308 battle rifle...... see this is where the problem is, I can't decide!

What do you think?

I am set up for reloading shot shells, as well as 357. I will eventually move on to other calibers. What type of training or where do you recomend?

A revolver and a 1911 are glaring holes in your collection to date. Although anything you get is a personal preference. I would go with a S&W 629 (.44 mag) next... Cause that's what I want next...

I would go for the cmp garand. It's a part of history!

I would possible get a few items

1911- I only have owned S&W and had no issues ALTHOUGH my want list is a WWII era US property 1911

M1A 30 carbine always a good balance for the CMP Garand

another cmp garand or possible springfield 03 or a M1917 for bolt battle rifle.

Hmmmm can you see where my mind is........

FA-91?

.308

98K Mauser, SKS, One of the Mosin variations, my personal choice is the Finnish M39. For .308 I like my FAL, but dont make the mistake I did and pick up one with a HESS receiver. Mine is out of spec. and I've heard stories about others. [rolleyes] (Ive been told Imbel receivers are the way to go) I would like to pick up a .308 G3/CETME at some point. .22 = any of the Ruger .22's pistols are nice.

My vote is for buy more ammo. You have a nice list of guns there. Give them more range time with the ammo and as a result help make you a better shooter.
