By enthusiast I mean it's not for hunting.

I saw some Pedersoli Kodiak double rifles on auction on GB and I've always thought those were cool and at the prices most classic looking muzzle stuffers (not CVA Wolf or T/C stuff) are going for brand new they're a grand or more. At that price I figure why not get a double gun for a few hundred more? Along those same lines, I could skip the double rifle and go with a shotgun, Pedersoli makes a few of those and the benefits of that is I can go as short in barrel length as I want.

One I've always been interested in is the 1842 Springfield musket, I just like the idea of a smoothbore percussion musket.

Flintlock I've always figured they're not fun to shoot, finicky, but with the cap situation it's not something I can write off.

Not looking to get anything tomorrow, but more figuring out what direction to go and keep my eyes peeled for in the future.
