I get the feeling this will get signed July 3rd, 5th, or 20th as a special “f*** you” to us from the legislature.

You called it. I just saw on the news that Baker plans to sign this bill today at 12:30pm. I don't know if it was mentioned before, but they're claiming those who have an ERPO filed against them have due process now. A hearing within 10 days, appeals process and that those who make a false claim are subject to penalties of up to $5k.

Especially when you don't know one has been filed against you until the cops come to steal all your shit. They could file it, then not come collect until Day 10. Then you're SOL because you missed the appeals window.
