I am afraid you are going to have to prove that with 2 forms of identification, and the DL address has to match that on the LTC.I am not a bot.

So then, you have done many transactions through GunBroker. Why did you pick this idiot FFL this time, instead of the ones that have worked well all these other times? Do you like to just try new FFLs to keep the spice in life alive?
Mmhmmm.
That's just what a bot would say.
Post physique in the post physique thread and maybe we will tell yaThis sounds maybe stupid, but as you know I am new in MA and NES. What is Mill or where is Mill?

Compliance has zero to do with what you can carry - it's what a dealer can transfer to you.Brand new for $499...shipping was free. I thought that was a great price. I've purchased and sold many firearms through GunBroker, never had a problem until this guy. I do prefer doing business in person, but as far as I know there aren't any MA compliant P365's available near me right now. Also, since I'm planning for this to be my new carry pistol I wanted it to be MA compliant (aka on the roster).
I don't think this is a normal issue for buying guns online. This guy is just a lunatic.
Lesson learned. I should have just went with the FFL I trusted more. Thought this would be easier since he is so close to me (5 min down the road).
As a recovering pant-shitter, I get it though.Compliance has zero to do with what you can carry - it's what a dealer can transfer to you.

And now you know that off roster new is possible with the right FFL - live and learn, we all have stories of expensive/painful education.Yes, I understand that. Perhaps I misspoke. Without finding a good price on a new P365 in my area, I am forced to purchase through a dealer - hence the requirement for MA roster approval.

I completely agree - should have been zero pain but this state is hell bent on harassing anyone thinking about self reliance. Not exactly an option for me since I don't personally know any FFLs in my area. Regardless, I purchased the pistol that I want (P365 with thumb safety and RMRc cut) for a decent price and there never should have been a painful lesson to be learned in the first place.
Worth a phone call to ODS Guns in Yarmouth, next time you're shopping. They had a bunch of 365s last time i was there and the Sig reps happened to be in the store and were able to answer a few questions I had.Brand new for $499...shipping was free. Just a guess, but he was probably pissed you were transferring a gun that he could have made more money on selling you himself.Brand new for $499...shipping was free. There’s no gun shop there, it’s a hardware store and an FFL pretty sure he must just do transfers, cause I’ve been in there for hardware a hundred times over the past 15 years and never noticed any guns.Just a guess, but he was probably pissed you were transferring a gun that he could have made more money on selling you himself.
If thats his attitude he should increase the price of his transfers and stop being a dick.
I always ask my local guy if he can get me something before I ask him to transfer anything new thats readily available.
I figure saving a few bucks isnt worth it if the guys isnt still in busness to transfer my oddball Gunbroker finds.

Move to some place where nobody wants your DL to match your hall pass because there is no hall pass. Also telling the world who the FFL is not ratting out. It's akin to any other retailer's review that one might find available to read. Are FFLs some kind of special revered citizens who can do no wrong?
A Patriots fan, eh?!Update: Pistol is officially in the possession of USPS and on its way back to the original sender. Sigh of relief. What a pain in the ass!
I thanked him for promptly sending it back and sent him a copy of the Code of Federal Regulations to help him brush up on how to properly transfer a firearm.
Here's all the info I have of him so that you can avoid this schmuck in the future:
