Folks,
I'm a new shooter, just starting to get familiar with and used to a pistol. I'm quite a lot of range time away from considering carrying concealed, but I have a question.
For those of you that carry: do you do it because you need to or because you want to?
I'm pretty secure in my abilities to take care of myself, don't engage in high risk stuff, or frequent venues that could put me in a tight spot. That being said, I'm all for exercising my rights, but I wonder about the inherent risk elevation (if it exists) of toting a weapon.
