Truly, one of the worst pieces of legislation in the history of this nation, and the start down the slippery slope of federal gun control.

Even the lowest man on the ladder of society in Iraq doesn't suffer the abomination of this type of legisltaion, he can keep an AK47 without paying a tax.

For those that don't get the title, he was probably on post #1933 when he posted this, as the NFA is from 1934.

I figured it out, took a minute though. I also agree with the OP. I think we should all be able to have the NFA stuff.
 
But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism...

The NFA was the first and greatest abuse, and it set the standard for all the abuses that have followed.
