43% want stricter laws, 33 % was less strict...the rest are ok with what we have. That's not good for us.

I'm not saying it's great, but the crap laws we have now are better than the crap laws people like the Brady Bunch want for us.

We still have a long way to go to make the laws good, but I think keeping them from getting any worse is a good first step.

Here's a Novel Idea, How about ENFORCING the laws that are already on the books instead on Plea Bargaining most of them away. It seemed to work in Richmond, VA. I think it was Operation Crime Strike? Put repeat dirt bags in for the mandatory Federal time that is already on the books.
