3:10pm - NBC 4 says security video shows shooter entering building with a shotgun. Police believe he might have stolen a semi-automatic 9MM pistol from the first security guard he shot with the shotgun. He then might have shot another guard who would have responded carrying a AR-15 assault rifle, and then the shooter grabbed and used that. This is all speculative; what the media is reporting what the police are investigating.

See that's the whole puzzle! In a gun free zone, it didn't make sense that a guard was allowed with a pistol and a cop with an ar.

If this story is true. This guy has to be a badass to take down that many armed people, or They have some serious security training issues on this Navy Yard. Probably a little of both. Either way this is sad.
No no no, definitely white. You gotta fit the narrative. And I predict in the end, he will be the only shooter, despite all the eye witness accounts. Anyone reporting multiple shooters will just be tinfoil hatters.

Only police and military should be allowed to have assault weapons. He shouldn't have been allowed to take those weapons off those guys. He is clearly not playing by the rules.

i dont know about that. He could of surprised both people.
If only there was a law requiring a universal background check for all firearms transfers, he never would have been able to take the firearms from the people he killed that quickly. He'd at least have to wait for the background check to be completed.
