I haven’t gotten anything in a week and a half From the state Website emails. Also, no idea what NHFC fb post was as I don’t have fb. I’m really tired of these orgs using inconsistent venues. Either use a website or email, but stop expecting people to have 27 different points of access and then complain about lack of support. I saw a complaint on Concord Patch about only 50 people showing up at a hearing From a FFL. Well, nhfc sent an email and said they would update what was going on. Nothing ever followed. Not cranking at you, appreciate you posting here, but there are some serious holes in the network. The state website goes down pretty frequently. I understand nhfc is a volunteer org, but if they say they will follow up, they should.
Yes, NHFC can clean up its messaging on their website, email distro, and all social media they use. They should all be theoretically conveying the same information.
IMO, while very helpful, it is not the most organized organization. Lots of volunteer type orgs can be like that.
I also don't think the couple of pennies I've kicked to them over the years have helped much other than paying a day or so of web site hosting.
It's a small org in a small state. They have <10K folks following their FB page. They do have something of a 'fudd' reputation, but what other organization is actually providing testimony for bills? Certainly not GOA who has only chimed in on one anti bill, and not the NRA with a whopping three bills.
IMO2, NHFC can do some SM work to spread the word and attract followers to their cause. Plenty of ways for a barely savvy FB person to do that. With followers may come money and then they might actually be able to grab a PT employee or something to help out.
RE FB. You don't have to have FB to read it. Similar with other SM venues. It's the 21st century(I think, I always mess that one up), we have to aggressively find the information we need for whatever reason. Despite it slowly dying, FB is one of those places. I have it, but the account that has my name on it is not there for friends or anything, it is only there to see restaurant specials, see what my former units are doing, and see what the is happening on some interests-NH 2A politics being one of them. Man that pic of the House meeting they posted yesterday looked familiar, lol.
and buying votes is an apt description of what the feds were trying to do.
