Choke tube threading 2023

I’ve seen a lot of older posts on this. I’m looking to get a barrel cut and choke threads added. Anyone in MA/RI still do this? I’m in Bristol county so closer to me the better but don’t mind traveling if it’s worth it. TIA

I will only allow a choke manufacturer to thread my barrels. I have trust issues.

I’ve use Carlson in the past with great results and service. But their smith retired a year ago and they are no longer threading barrels.

I just sent a set of o/u barrels to Briley, delivered yesterday. I will post how it goes. Prices on smith work are reasonable. Chokes are not inexpensive, but they are some of the best made.

Shipping was not cheap. Shipped UPS, but their tracking is not great, but much better than USPS tracking. Next time, I will use FedEx.

Agree with this... Guys from all over the country send their shotgun barrel work to Mike.
