Does anyone know if the follower on the Yugo M48s came with the left
rear end of the follower beveled, so as to be able to close the bolt without
having to hold it down??? i saw one this morning at the woburn spts/assoc
range, it had the left rear beveld off. i have a 24/47 that is that way but
my M48 is not! and the guy that own,s it said " thats the way it came"
N.I.B.with Cosmoline. anybody got the skinny on this??
appreciate any info. JON J you got to know this one!!

Thanks S.D.

Well if it's a milled follower it shouldn't be beveled. Not sure about the stamped followers. Ya never know what an armorer might have done during the re-arsenal process.

i new you would be out there JonJ, well i guese you are right about the armorer cause both of mine ,the M48 and 24/47 are milled and one is and
one is not. so i think i will probably grind a little off the M48, as i play alot with these things, and a follower can be had preety cheap from G-Parts if i want to redo it. anywho thanks again JJ

Take Care Sheriff Dudley.

Does the bevel look like it has been ground? I mean, is the machining different from the rest of the follower?
