I would also suggest to the op that they stopped shitting their pants until there's actually a finalized piece of legislation in place but even then I still wouldn't panic. They will have time to determine wether ir not they decide to leave, givw up their shit, or just be a called a felon like the rest of have been for years. (Were pretty used to this).
