I just hope there's no time constraints, the M1 took like 17 years to come to fruition. You are on pretty good ground with that one. The M1 was likely the best all weather condition rifle ever.

Probably build a heavy, difficult to maintain, low capacity gun that jams 3 out of 5 rounds. But it might win us the next 2 world wars. Shoot down some nukes and shit.Imagine what Browning could do with polymer, CNC machines and 3D printing...

Browning and I use the $1 for @Buck F because the vehicle that gun will be mounted on needs insurance, and he is a stud.
It takes more to designing a weapon than a bright engineer. Without connecting with the use of a tool, something is lost.Need to know what type of weapon they're designing
Handgun: Browning
Rifle: Mauser
Shotgun: Browning
Machine Gun: Browning
Budget: Kalashnikov
Overall winner: Browning
What have Jerry and Hickock45 designed? Or are they just shooters? Don’t know Ian and Brandon
I thought I was the only one… I’ll throw in the extra buck for JerryGarand and Gatling

This was my choice also. Both are great at what they did/do...Browning and Ian.
But if I'm feeling adventurous, I'd probably just let Kalashnikov do it and then spend the other dollar on a Cumby's coffee. Because you know whatever Mikhail comes up with won't really need a testfire.
Actually, given my current proclivities, I'd probably use all $5 to hire Dieudonne Saive.
I honestly would love to see what type of weapon a collaboration amongst three or four of you sick f*cks on here would produce. I’ll take 3.
