What threads do you not open? (Besides this one)

"What should I get..." Especially when it is for someone else. I always feel like being a smart *** when someone asks "what kind of gun should I get for my wife?" and answering "well, how big is she and where do you plan to hunt her?"

I read them all with the exception of the new "Sopranos" thread...I don't have HBO, but am caught up until this last half-season and don't want to know what happens!!!

The other Mods can patrol that thread juuuuuust fine

I don't purposely avoid any threads. I guess I'm a "judge a book by its cover" kind of guy. If the title doesn't interest me I won't open it and if I do and it bores me or seem duplicate to me in any way I won't post to it.

I'll read what interests me. A lot of times I've opened a thread read a few lines and lost interest.

People who take the time to make the topic meaningful tend to get viewed. Stuff like "not again" and "don't you hate" and "can someone explain" usually get passed by.

You want me to read, you gotta get me interested. (^_^)

I wish that people who read a thread, read it ALL, so a post doesn't get answered several times or additional questions get asked that have already been answered.

I'll go along with that one, but there are plenty I skip over. Took me 2 days to finally click on this one.
Usually though I skip ones with videos because my PC sometimes glitches out if I run a video depending on the web site. I do read everything in the Milsurp section though and probably 90% of the Member's section posts.

I think a better question is what threads do you open and then get pissed off at its content and wish you hadn't opened.

In my case that would be people gawking at wheel guns.

I read most of the political threads, at least to begin with; the same with gun law threads, and threads that I think will help me learn more about firearms. NES group specials (buys and events) are automatic reads. WTS posts get looked at if the item is interesting. WTT and WTB do not because I don't have enough firearms yet to have anything I am will to trade or sell. Ya got to pimp me with the title for most anything else, although if it's borderline and traffic reaches 2 or 3 pages quickly I might take a look.

Depends on my mood. Sometimes I read just about everything, other days only titles that really grab me. Almost always the classifieds and the gun PICS (porn). I almost always skip threads with people who don't know me telling me what kind of training I need and how often I should get it.
