My boys are very fond of the new cut out......I may need to cut another out to keep them from pounding on each other for turns with it.

Nice work... Honey I had to buy another ar...the kids were fighting over the foam cut out.

If you're going to buy gun cases with foam inserts, go out and buy one of these, they work WONDERFUL. You will end up with a lot less frustration and a superior finished product than with any conventionl knife.

While closed cell foam can be cut fairly well with a good knife, accurately cutting open cell foam is much harder since it has less structure and tends to compress before it cuts.
