What’s your current ammo lineup? Pics

my ammo lineup would be too boring, here's why:

I felt the same way until sometime in early 2015 when I realized my range trips were becoming an exercise in ammo accounting. what was once fun had become tedious. after my miniature nervous breakdown, I got out of every chambering except 22LR, 9mm, 223, 308 and occasional playing with 44 mag, 45-70. i used to blow so much $$ stocking 300 blk, 5.45, 7.62R, 7.62x54, 8mm mauser, .30-06, 10mm, 357sig, 45acp, 380, 17hmr, 357mag, 38 sp, 12g slugs. hell even .40 S&W if the price was good I would buy it, and we all know that .40 S&W has terminal aids. so that should help explain my thinking at the time. nowadays i find my gun hobby less stressful having restricted the # of chamberings I am allowed to enjoy.

also one day I shot an entire mag of 9mm through a glock 32 (357 sig) and wondered why that 357sig ammo felt so weak. it was an eye opener that i might be taking too many different ammo's to the range!
I used to pack my vehicle with 5 or 6 guns and 4 or 5 different types of ammo too. Yes it gets old. Now I'm plenty happy to toss one gun in a bag and go to the club. I actually find that more enjoyable and relaxing.

I'd get a 6.5 CM but I have a 270 already. Plus I'd have to grow a beard, buy skinny jeans and start drinking lattes.

I must have missed this or I’m not too knowledge about 6.5 being fashionable. I did read an article somewhere where the comparison was made between this and 7.62/.223 about accuracy due to the shape and/or taper at the neck(forgot the term where the bullet is tapered at the back). Boat tail? I don’t have a man bun or the aforementioned design profiles. I’m just an aging man with three kids, a wife, and a mil at home.

Blissful ignorance I guess!

Same. I used to bring my entire arsenal every time I went to the range. The cleaning afterwards was too time consuming to keep that up. I decided each time I went to the range I would bring a long gun and a pistol and that would be it. Occasionally I’ll also bring a .22 pistol making 3 guns total on one trip.

I currently stock:
5.56/.223
9mm
.22
12ga
7.62x54r
And one box of .45

That last box of .45 was meant to make sure that I followed through and bought a 1911.

I also have some black powder Knick knacks if that counts.

I'm probably doing it all wrong. 5.56 greenies and a few boxes of FGMM 69 gr, .308 FGMM 175gr, 9mm and around 250 rounds of 300 BLK for the truck gun. Not much variety, but that makes it easy to get more of each. I'm working on my goal to have 1500 rounds/gun on tap. Except for the FGMM in .308, which would break the bank at $1.20 per bang.

Definitely growing, recently dropped 44mag/special as a rifle, but will be returning to it soon enough with another rifle and a good revolver.
Otherwise currently stocking.
308, 6.5x55, 30-06, 8mm Mauser, 7mm Mauser, 7.5 French, 9mm, 45ACP, 357mag/38 Special, 5.56, 12g, and 22lr. Between that more brands and versions of each than I feel like counting.
Edit: I'm surprised I'm not seeing more milsurp calibers.

I have ammo for guns i dont own, plus i have more options reloading.
I keep enough 22lr on hand to go shooting when ever the other stuff is expensive, out of stock or for what ever reason I cant load for. All within the laws and regs.

I’m done adding calibers with the exception of .410. I have no timetable for it, but I’m looking at getting Briley tubes for my Citori. Maybe a .308, but that’s highly unlikely unless I get rid of something first.

I have one round of 38 S&W in my shirt pocket.
I’ve got 3 rounds of 22lr on my bathroom counter. Been there for weeks. Don’t remember how they got there.

22Lr
9mm
45acp - no gun to fire it with, but it was on sale so....

20 gauge all flavors
12 gauge all flavors
410 bird shot or snake shot down here.
7.62x54r
6.5 Grendel.

Gave all my black powder guns to my old man. He has a blast with them. Plus he’s safer with one bullet at a time. I mean, I’ll get them back eventually. Hopefully he cleans them.

I cut way back but not to 3 calibers only that's crazy I got rid of all the wild cat rounds and kept just the most common. But sh@t I think that's to many and might cut down again.

Waiting for someone to say "6.5 Creedmoor is all you need, everything else is obsolete" - I think Woodsy would have a stroke.

410 for skeet and trap is a challenge! I piss guys off at the club when I hit for 22 or 23 with a 410 lever action and their hitting high teens with the kreighoffs and guerini guns shooting 12 gauge

Had a guy last year after we finished a round and asked the range officer..."you let guys shoot 410 for trap"? Range officer says.....uh.....yeah.....its not a problem

That's more like it, thanks for reminding me though I have .303 as well with no gun for it yet. Soon™ Stocking that 7,7 unobtanium I see though.
I know I'm on the younger side around here, but anybody who says that can burn in hell. Falls in line with all the tools that are 10mm or go home. I'll continue to use anything I can get my hands on that is still relevant.

Ha! Back when I was shooting a lot, I was pretty good with a .410, which was a friend’s dad’s gun. I’m slowly getting back into it, but there’s a bunch of guys where I shoot shotgun that are absolutely lethal with their self-loaded rounds.

400 rounds of M80 ball for our Savage .308, 300 rounds of M193 ball and 300 rounds of M855 ball for our Savage .223, 300 rounds of mixed 12 gauge slug, buck and birdshot for our three Remington 870s, two bricks of standard velocity and high-velocity .22LR for our older daughter's .22 rifle and a "milk carton" of Crosman BBs for our younger daughter's BB gun.

I know, what kind of american is he with all those communist rounds? But nah, all in good fun. ;)
In my defense I have used some of the 45acp I bought in One-Eyed Jack's M3 Greasegun at a past Monadnock shoot.
As I've mentioned elsewhere I have had an envelope labeled 1911 in my desk drawer for a couple of years, but I always end up putting the money to something else. Over the past few years I've thrown a box into random ammo orders so that whenever I do get the 1911 I'll be well stocked. I already have a mag or two as well ha.

I have an active thread in the Firearms subsection for 7.62x51 options; I already load for it (friend's M1A). Leaning towards a FAL at this point.

More than half of the guns I own are older than I am.
