Just more harassment from the anti-Pols.

"
Tacoma, Washington, is slated to join a handful of U.S. cities who have imposed high taxes on gun sales -- only if the city council votes in favor of the proposal Tuesday.

The proposed ordinance, seen as a way to defray the rising cost of gun violence, has troubled local gun shop owners who say they would bear the brunt of the tax.

If passed, there would be a $25 tax on all gun purchases. There would also be a 2-cent per round tax on ammunition .22 caliber and below and a 5-cent tax on ammunition above .22 caliber, according to Q13 FOX."

"City council" is becoming a trigger word. Whenever one in is mentioned in the news it's for playing God.

There's maybe a dozen storefront "gun stores" in Tacoma, Washington today, all this will do is drive business to the suburbs, probably push a few of these shops to relocate, the rest to shutter.

Is .223 a .22 caliber??? I would say so.

The high cost of gun crime. ROFL!!!!! Sure. It's them pesky law-abiding folks that buy guns then shoot crap up then pretend they are just following the law. THAT is the problem.

It would be like taxing feet because the highways need repair.
