I have a bunch of machine gun bolts that I would like to put in my ultrasonic cleaner. What is the best thing to use to clean the gun parts with? CLP, purple power, simply green etc. What do you guys use?

Steel?
Cascade.
Any aluminum or other metal it's a no-go
Edit- I've always used bare or stainless... never blued, not sure what would happen.
Always rinse thoroughly and oil it after before it flashes over.

Simply green hd from Home Depot works. Haven’t tried anything else. It’s also fine with aluminum.
Agree, Purple color Simple Green HD follow the dilution instructions, there are a couple of options, depends on the job. I let the parts cool a bit, wipe dry followed by oil. Years without any issues, have also used w/aluminum.
