I saw 8 good size toms down the street yesterday morning and then later saw 2 hens with what looked like their 2nd clutches of the season. No fall turkey out here
I can only hope that the state biologist will allow it soon.

I guess its time to invest in a NH hunting permit. Turkeyday is a few months away, and there is nothing better than a wild turkey on turkeyday.

Son Lance lives in Fitzwilliam. The area is loaded with them. He was in the Hawkeye with a good sized one. Forget which issue. Jack.

I just saw 9 turkeys when I was leaving the Hanscom Field airport. They walked right across the road.

I went turkey hunting last spring and saw nothing except for about 4 good sized whitetail, and last fall deer hunting I saw a few turkeys I can never win.
