Saw these in Fitzwilliam, NH the other day. I counted 29 of them.

Forgive the pic quality, it was my cell phone.

I saw 8 good size toms down the street yesterday morning and then later saw 2 hens with what looked like their 2nd clutches of the season. No fall turkey out here[thinking]
I can only hope that the state biologist will allow it soon.

i had chicken for dinner

but now i'm hungry (again).

hmmmmm turkey...

WRT to the yard bird: i'm a breast and thigh man [laugh]

I see these guys cutting through my yard a couple of times a week, they sure get the dogs riled up!

I guess its time to invest in a NH hunting permit. Turkeyday is a few months away, and there is nothing better than a wild turkey on turkeyday.

I went turkey hunting last spring and saw nothing except for about 4 good sized whitetail, and last fall deer hunting I saw a few turkeys I can never win.
