That wide 8 is nice for our area. Hopefully he sticks around. Patterns tend to change....but having that many deer on cam is good for summer. I never get that many behind my house in the summer. They must like the new logging!
Yup. Clearcuts do attract game. They’re loving the skid paths, stump sprouts, and low vegetation.
 
The boys are finally making appearances. What looks like a six and a four.

It was just last month that I cut all that green stuff down. [banghead]

Placed my first cam this past Monday. Saw only a doe all season last year, no tag. Hopefully I can keep this guy around or something a little more mature will show up so this guy can get bigger for next year.

Either way I’m pumped. Maybe I won’t be suckin on tag soup at the end of the year.
