Trail camera thread. Post ur trail camera photos.

Haven't see the bucks since archery season started - how do they know? Anyway, a doe and her fawns have been hanging around. I didn't know that deer would squat to pee?

They pee and poop in my back yard all the time. There’s usually 3 or 4 in my yard out back sleeping and munching most nights. Coyotes are coming back, I haven’t seen them yet but I can hear them.

A western deer hunter showed me this. You hang a stick (about 1" dia and 6' long) about 2 feet off ground. Deer will stop by and rub their sent glands and scrape the ground and piss on the spot. Consistently coming to it. I found a deer trail and set it up neer my stand. It works biggly.

My 7 cameras have been ridiculously boring recently. All the moose have disappeared, all the bucks are hiding, the bears seem to avoid getting full shots in the cameras. I do have a bunch of does and rabbits which eat up my data allocation.

Smallest bear I've seen up there.

This girl is NOT camera shy.

I want to see more trucks, because trucks mean progress. Finally staked out the house last week. First delivery of materials scheduled a couple weeks from now.

Started checking some cams. Have a spot thats holdjng like 5 does regularly and every now and then a buck skirts thru in the morning.

Another spot that is filthy with moose. And only one silly spike horn.

I put more cams out to soak last week and will be putting the Tactacams out soon.

A couple of this morning Tactacam. Thought this spot was kinda hot. But these are the first pics in 4 days. Will be pulling both of them and bringing to PA next week for early muzzleloader

My cams were very active 2 weeks ago, now this week they have been dead. Full moon doldrums maybe

Pay once. Cry once.
I spent $600ea. for two cuddyback cams with bear proof boxes the year the pats went 18-1. Haven't used them in many years. The box bolts to a tree and you run cable locks through them and around the tree. Great pics and video.

Same.
Two weeks ago I had four different bucks and ton of does at one mock scrape in a few days.
Past week, nothing but a tree rat.
Same here. If you look back over the past several weeks you can almost see the change coming. Leaves are falling taking some of their cover and their food sources may be changing. Possibly some last minute scouting and/or light hunting pressure depending on where you are. They're out there and they're moving, just maybe different times and corridors. Should pick up over the next few weeks.
