Exactly why was the COP in support of this?

It was late, and many thought that it was over except for the count. As was forewarned, after votes were tallied (it took at least 10-15 minutes (but seemed longer)) and we won, the COP made a motion to bring the Article back up for consideration with amendments, but the amendments were not clear. That meant another vote was possible. That was not well-received. After a lot of chaos and back and forth, the COP withdrew his motion.

Does "COP" mean "Chief of Police"?

If so, what's his damage?

Funny how they are intense on policing law abiding gun owners over absurd, vague, and convoluted laws, but don't seem to much care about burglars, rapists, vandals, and the rest.

I would think, as a non FFL person, having all the FFL's in one big cozy 'nest' would make inspections a lot easier!

It is a nice station. No way the FD was going to get less than the schools and the state of the art public works building up in the old quarry.
Chip built a really nice facility up on the hill.
