Thoughts on deer population after this winter

I've seen several in places in Maine where I've never seen them before - up close to the house, in fields I've never seen them in 40 years, etc. Interestingly, I also had a yote on my back lawn a few months ago and I've never seen that before, either. I'm wondering how much of this change in patterns will remain permanent.

It's global warming that is the cause.
 
Definitely not the best pictures as I was way up on my deck taking these with my phone. It was what I believe to be a mom and daughter. They did not even hesitate when I went back on the deck to get ready to grill.
