How long can it be before people gather behind the firing line, waiting for the "range is clear" command, before embarking on a spree of crazed brass recovery?

I sweep and keep all of the brass under and near me.

I keep the brass I need, and scrap the rimfire and steel/aluminum.

I can definitely see a brass rat or two using that, though.

It also looks like itd be useful for the end of the day for whoevers cleaning up.

When I go to the range, I bring my daughter's teenage boyfriend. That way he can walk down range to change targets and pick up brass etc. And if he mistreats my daughter....
oh course I speak in jest for those who may not have a sense of humor

I tend to kneel on one knee. Its harder to get back up at my age, but bending over at my club has its hazards.

I like that!! Folks with bad knees like me dread picking up our brass, this thing looks great. I wonder if there are an on eBay for a cheaper cost?

From what I have witnessed over the years, theres alot of people with really bad knees... In fact bad hands and fingers too...
