THE BIDEN PLAN TO END OUR GUN VIOLENCE EPIDEMIC

I don't agree. Half the country doesn't want extremist ideas, which is why democrats lost over 100 legislative seats across the country. People didn't vote for Biden, they voted against Trump. Democrats got smoked in all other arenas based largely on their radical ideas. This election proved that radical leftism is not popular.

I fear you guys are still living in the ‘00s. The old rules went out the window these past 4+ years. Radical leftism is putting the finishing touches on their coup and you’re declaring victory. It doesn’t matter what half the country wants when the radicals have their hands on the levers of power.

I'm going to get a little deep with this post.
It will be a bit different from the usual stuff I share, but I do have a point.

All the fears of Biden's gun ban plans in these multiple threads are really a reflection of something more primal in the mind. What most of you are really afraid of is dying.

Atheists are afraid of dying because you believe this is all there is. Once you are dead, that's it. Game over. Christians are afraid of death because they still worry about going to Hell. And you Catholics, if you know your catechism, know that only a very small percentage of people get into Heaven without going to Purgatory. And for those that don't know, Purgatory is Hell with a release date.

So ultimately, the inaction and worry comes from fear of death.

But I don't fear death. I don't really want to die. Since it is inevitable, I've done a ton of research on this subject over the last ten years. That research has lead me down some interesting paths.

I am very comfortable with the conclusion that what will likely happen is this.

If you don't fight for your rights now, you will likely have to come back and experience another lifetime on an even shittier version of Earth -- because you did nothing in this lifetime.

As Kuhner would say, "but let that go".

What is very clear is that most people are motivated by self preservation, and this fact is being used to control YOU. If you are willing to hand in your guns, you are already a slave.
I wouldn't advocate handing them in, but I wouldn't be foolish enough to keep illegal firearms in the small-arms safe at home either. All it would take is a "red flag" confiscation order because of something my kids said at school or a home-defense action. Either one brings the cops. If the cops find illegal guns.....well....I think you can figure out what the legal consequences would be. I would purchase some PVC, end caps, waterproof PVC cement and a sturdy shovel, If you know what I mean!

Said it before here, many times. And now I'll say it again.. If I had ten bucks for every time I've heard (mostly) white (mostly) American (mostly) guys yell about "IT'S GO TIME" here (and elsewhere)? I would be able to retire tomorrow.

There is literally less-than-zero chance...less than zero.. of legal, law abiding gun owners shouting (actually texting, LOL) to each other that it's time to "RISE UP! ..One if by land, two if by sea...To arms! Fellow citizens!! To arms!!"...and having everyone (or anyone), anywhere storm any State House/any Governor's mansion/any White House or other Presidential Palace, etc..Less than zero chance of this actually happening.

You (we) would be very VERY quickly mowed down by semi-automatic/full-auto gunfire.. and by the following Monday or Tuesday the only "angry, fed-up citizens" who would even slightly remember your glorious uprising would be your family... as they're holding your funeral..(And half of those relatives would whisper to each other - as your casket is wheeled slowly toward the alter - "What the HELL was he thinking?? Didn't he realize that everyone talks a great game but very few actually beg the coach to let them onto the playing field?).

"To arms! Fellow citizens!! Join me in rebellion!! It's GO TIME!!!"....
(Let me know how that works out for you).

Just sayin'
Ya, agree with 99% chest thumping.
Look at BLM, in the end they had some numbers, violence, and media coverage and what was the outcome? Zilch.
To do anything we would need numbers, strategy, and some form of communication and leadership. Think revolutionary war where the states each formed their own armies. That’s the only way it would work...but back then people were willing to leave their jobs (mostly farmers) and family behind to fight....I have little doubt that most people wouldn’t be willing to do that today..if we truly started a movement or militia, call me....

Zilch? Are you kidding? Have you not watched TV lately? Seen any other form of advertising? Driven down any white suburban main street? Has your company not undertaken any new diversity initiatives?

Not sure I’d trust to him to keep his word in the face of what could be pressure from his own party, the media and half the country.
Manchin is at the lesser end of scum for the donks. Still scum by definition of course but he does represent relatively conservative WV. He would be losing his job for the fight at that point. Trump won WV with 68%

People just need to stop being retards and ginning hysteria about bidens ejac dreams about gun control. A lot of stuff in his platform is going to piss off the gun mafia, too. (We'd have big money resistance on our side. It's not even worth talking about it until or unless legislation is filed.
I'm not worried about an AWB. Actually, I'm 100% convinced it would blow up in their faces, so I hope they try it (nationally).

Yeah, I don't think so. Again, you're ignoring the reality of A) what just happened this past election, and B) the likely construction of the Senate. They do not & will not have the votes to execute nuclear option 3, not to mention it's still highly unlikely they flip both Georgia seats. There is virtually no chance of the filibuster ending which is what would be required in order to pass all these crazy laws certain people are in full panic over. It's pure fear porn. I get the impression that most people simply don't understand how the Senate & congress work. As in the actual logistics & processes.

Radical leftism was just destroyed on the national level. Across the country people voted no to radicals.

Reminder, king Obama was able to get precisely zero gun laws passed right after Sandy Hook and during a time where democrats had much more control. Neither of those exist currently, and they do not have the political equity to push forward heavy restrictive gun laws, or pack the supreme court, or add statehoods, etc.

I think you're being far too optimistic in your interpretation of the election results, which we don't even really have yet. Radical leftism was not destroyed, it's picking out new curtains for the White House. It's still running the media. It's still infecting our schools. It's still preventing otherwise good people from speaking truth in normal conversation.

Not everyone is afraid of dying.. I'm not afraid of dying. It is what it is and I can't avoid it, etc etc..
I'm much, much more terrified of the dentist's chair. 😁

Just looked up the mask mandate. Although they are telling everyone to wear masks in public, the order actually says that you must wear a mask if you can't be socially distant(6 ft). So I see no problem with just walking around without one.

Any laws change?
Diversity measures aren’t law...easily ignored. I’m talking real change...call me when they defund the police or give into any of the BLM demands..

Yes, Biden won, but it was because people voted against Trump, not for Biden. There were a metric ton of votes in places like MI & WI that only had the top of the ticket filled for Joe Biden or the top of the ticket was filled for Joe Biden while all the other choices on the ballot were 100% for GOP candidates. Trump was very offputting to much of the country, he lost this election, Biden didn't win it. No stat is more telling of this than the fact that Trump's support in every single demographic was up compared to 2016 with the exception of one; white males. The college educated soy boys simply grew sick & tired of his schtick.

Now look across the entire nation & election results. The democrats lost over 100 legislative seats nationally in a year they claimed they'd have a blue tsunami. You had GOP picking up house seats in CA that haven't gone GOP since 1998 while dems picked up zero seats in Texas after proclaiming this was going to be the election they flipped Texas, dead ass wrong.

We were told the democrats were going to expand their majority in the house by 10-15 seats, instead they are going to lose 10-20 seats & barely hold the majority. You then had the Senate whereby the GOP had more than double the seats to defend compared to democrats & the GOP will still likely maintain the majority. You had democrats spend the most money ever on senate races in South Carolina, Kentucky, & Maine and every single one of those races was a complete & utter train wreck for the democrat challengers. Then look at all the governor races & local elections that went to the GOP.

This was a complete disaster of an election for democrats & the radical left. Look at their own live leaked comments from their own conference call. That party is catastrophically divided as they know that the radical left portion of their party is killing the rest of it.

This was a solid election for republicans across the nation once you get over sleepy Joe beating Trump. Trump got the highest minority vote % of any GOP candidate since 1960. If the republicans can build off this base & take these gains, they are far better positioned than the fractured democrats. Politics & elections are a marathon, not a sprint, sure Biden won, but the GOP is in far better shape & position nationally than the democrats.

Social norms and sentiments lead the way, laws follow.

I hope you're right about radical leftism having been destroyed but I don't think you are. The election results aren't changing anyone's mind, they're just a snapshot of how people voted for particular candidates in particular races. You can't aggregate the results nationwide and take the net result as conclusive of where things stand nationally. The urban centers are still way out on the far left end of the spectrum and that's not changing anytime soon. This election isn't forcing them out of their trenches, it's pushing them out into the streets to celebrate their victory. The media isn't letting go of the narrative either, they're doubling down. The deep state/permanent government is still calling the shots and pulling the levers.

Just mark my words and buy all the ammo you can get, now, as, i do predict - we will not be able to buy anything at all very soon, except of .22.
It is the easiest and the most obvious thing to happen, as it is VERY easy to enforce and it, technically, does not clarify as 2nd amendment infraction.
Just a minor 'technicality'.

Yes, there are places where radical leftism exists, however, all the national elections just handed an overwhelming defeat on the national level. You cannot take the singular presidential election results as indication of anything without viewing the entirely of the national election results. Radical leftists were steamrolled everywhere. I have never felt more optimistic about the lack of appeal of the radical left & the growing strength of the GOP.

Ammunition bans absolutely do count as infraction of 2A, even if not yet explicitly called out as such by SCOTUS.

c'mon.
ok, a federal mandate to have each bullet laser engraved with your SSN and home address, per $99 per cartridge. or, frankly, whatever else. it is not explicitly stated nowhere.

I just looked at the mass.gov site and it says masks must be worn with the exceptions below, I don't see social distancing as an exception and I am pretty sure Charlie Parker said "irregardless of distance"

Did Faker ACTUALLY say "irregardless"??? Just so you know, irregardless is not an actual word.

Sorry I couldn't resist being a grammar Nazi.;)

So I didn’t read most of this thread and it appears to have diverged into something other than the thread title suggests, but no matter.

I assume Biden’s plan to end a gun violence epidemic is to first create one to end. Since there must be one in order for him to end it. Surely it’s not inner city gang violence he’s talking about. The left hate talking about that...

Thats a bit overly simiplistic no?

NH voted to re-elect a GOP governor who vetoed every gun bill that a donk legislature crammed through......

NH voters also returned control of the NH House, Senate and Exec Council.....in short NH voters repudiated the dem agenda of the last 2 years including gun control

NH may have re-elected fed donks but thats mostly because of massive out of state money combined with sub standard candidates

The repudiation of gun control at the state level across the country is 100% guaranteed to factor into what reps do in the next congress
NH has become Mass with more lakes and trees. Note also Mass has a “Republican” Governor.

“End the online sale of firearms and ammunitions. Biden will enact legislation to prohibit all online sales of firearms, ammunition, kits, and gun parts.”
f*** off, Creepy Joe.

That would end "gunbroker" "Guns International" Midway etc. We will have buy everything local which reduces choices and if Mass can shut down gun shops that really hurts.

I have sold a bunch of guns on gunbroker and also bought from around the country, it makes a large marketplace but if I am limited to people who go my my local gun store that will really cut down my viability.

We need to march on Washington DC either during or right after the inauguration... millions of gun owners (no guns), the same way they did after Trump's inauguration. We need a coherent message, showing that we support legal ownership, semi-automatic weapons and don't support illegal possession (which is what most crime is committed with).
