Target Sports Delivering Again - Megathread

It is 4 boxes of 200 in the case. I doubt any extras. Last case of Federal 5.56 bulk pack (1000) I opened from TS actually had almost 70 extra rounds.
Nice way to downgrade a "case" from 1000 to 800 rounds, sort of like the relatively new 59 ounce half gallon (now sometimes appearing as the 55 ounce half gallon)

Well I saw the link and ordered, and now I see your quote. We'll see if I get my case or not.
This was posted in 2019 so things could have changed?...Granted that was Cabelas.
I was afraid of the same thing. Couple that with their assanine policies in the MA store--specifically that they won't let you ship ammo to the store for pickup, and their refusal to order it for you in the store--and you've got a really bad omen for the future of Cabelas. Glad I got my hunting gear when I did, I always felt the Cabelas brand stuff was better than the AssPro shit, and leaps and bounds above the garbage Dickholes put out as their Field and Stream brand.

And 2015:
No because they'd need a license in every city/town in the state according to the asinine interpretation and enforcement of the law by the AG's office. Though maybe Cabela's would be cool enough to sue over it.

Basspro refuses to do ammo shipped to their MA store over fear of the AG. [angry]

I'm cautiously optimistic, but no more than that. Bass Pro is famous (infamous?) for taking orders, delay, delay, delay, and then cancelling. We'll see.
I'm 99% sure they don't ship to MA stores so it will need to go to a free state basspro. Just a FYI to anyone reading.
Well I saw the link and ordered, and now I see your quote. We'll see if I get my case or not.
I will be the 2020 data point then, we'll see what happens.
This gonna be interesting. [popcorn]

It's such a strange brew at the BP in Hooksett right now. I was in there the other day, and the only pistol ammo they had was a bunch of 9mm Sig 365 V-Crown defensive ammo (Limit 5) at well under $1/rd, and an absolute shitload of .44MAG ammo. That's it. No other pistol ammo. Guy working there said "check back. We never know what comes in."

By taking advantage of the law that prevents requiring a purchase in a contest unless the vendor is licensed to sell participations in games of chance?

I just emailed them to inquire as to how we should enter without having to actually order something, as required by law.

I wonder if I'll get an answer.

Lol, TSUSA has ham cans of Wolf MC 7.62x39 listed at $226.31 for 700 rounds... says it's $0.25 cents per round... [rofl2]
Should be $175 a can if 25 cents per round...
Who's doing the math over there...???

They were in 270 and 300 wsm. No 308 or 30-06 that I noticed.

I have some Federal Fusion, Fusion MSR and 180rds of Federal Fusion in 308. It’s okay - but the Nosler Trophy Grade is much more accurate and the Accubond is a superior bullet.

I see I'm not the only now who hates Hornady Fusion.

Federal Fusion is good hunting and self-defense ammo.

My shtf AR mags are loaded with 62gr Fusion Soft Point ammo. I think that's a good bullet design for that purpose.

What don't you like about it? Or are you talking about an actual Hornady product you don't care for?

I presume any of the ammo still left on the shelves in the BP pics above are some weird-ass oddball calibers that nobody shoots, or if they do they handload for it.

Last time I bought that Wolf 9mm steel case stuff it was $0.13/per. I hate every single thing about this year.
I used to regularly buy 2,000 rounds for $260. I always reached for 9mm on range day because I knew I could blast through it. Those days are long gone.

I don't know why I said Hornady, I knows it's made by Federal. I used Fusion for a year and was very impressed with the accuracy out of the box, it legitimately rivaled hand loaded ammo. I took three deer that year and was surprised how little the round expanded. My example is by no means scientific but it made me question the ammo. ELD-X is my bullet.
