So I realize that I probably could have posted these pics in the "random gun porn" thread, but what I usually see there are a few pics of 1 or 2 guns. The purpose of this thread is to showcase all the firearms that you guys have. I do realize that for some of you guys this is probably not possible due to a collection that is multiplying like gremlins, but for someone like myself it's a bit more manageable.

These are collections that were lost in boating accidents, of course........... right? [wink]
 
Nice collection jdigga. Makes me think of a recent argument with my girlfriend... Long story short...i had a .40 back in the day. Had it stolen and never replaced it. A few months ago my buddy mentioned a SW.38 Bodyguard that his dad liked. Sounded good so i bought one. She mentioned that we "probably should have discussed it first". A few weeks later i bought a SR40c. She came home and got in a huff. I told her that since i already had one, i didnt think she would get madder with a second. Boy was I wrong. Then i bougt a Mosin the next week and she flipped out some more. I thought, she must be used to this by now, another wont hurt. I mentioned that i got in on the High Point group buy and and she almost came to tears that i dont discuss these things with her. I told her if more guns are going to be an issue...to be fair warned that i'm, not close to being done yet. She thinks 4 is "way too many" for an apartment. She asked how many i can fit in my safes? I said more than 4. She sighed.

My gf has been giving me crap about getting in on the lower group buy. She said something to the effect of "Isn't three guns enough?! Why don't you save up so we can buy a house." (she forgot that I have a fourth) I then pointed out that out of the two of us, I'm the one with a job and still saving money while she is in grad school full time. She was upset until I reminded her that she considers the 22 her gun, haha.

I used to hide them as I got them, but as time went on, I stay open with what I am buying/selling/trading. She seems to appreciate the fact that I'm not keeping secrets from her.

Took a long time to get there though!

I'm in the same boat as you my friend. Although she is now a wife of two years. I've sunk roughly $20K+ into this hobby over the past 3 years without so much as a peep. The way I see it is it's just like getting a motorcycle license and then going out and buying yourself a really nice bike.

I don't keep them a secret, I just don't wave them in her face. She's got no interest. [sad]
