God. Please dont put a big ugly ruger sign across the flats of a Marlin Levergun Reciever. PLEASE.And here come the Ruglins.
Ruger hasn't made a lever gun since their Model 96, which wasn't a big seller.
Nah no need they already have a safety and a 2 piece firing pin to prevent out of battery firing.I was saying Ruger could use a lever and shotgun line. Probably the best buyer for Marlin.
I imagine all the lever actions will get a transfer bar. Stainless models to compliment their revolver lineup.
At one time you could buy plastic guns in the local toy store and they also sold caps.Whaddymean, Glock didn't buy Marlin?
And the primer market.Vista takes the ammo business. So now Vista (Federal, Blazer, CCI, Speer etc etc) and Olin (Winchester, Lake City) control all the big domestic ammo makers...
Maybe they can offer a nice cowboy lever action to go with the Ruger Vaquero. This is the best thing that could happen for Marlin.
Ruger is one of the best companies around right now for innovations. New cartridges. New firearms.
maybe they will breathe some life into Marlin and offer some out of the ordinary lever guns like. 9mm or 10mm 1894.
If anyone is going to do it Ruger would.
And the primer market.
This can go two ways ... keep prices reasonable to prevent competition from entering the market or go full retard.
I like the LingersAnd here come the Ruglins.
Second-place SIG already has an ammo plant near Lonoke, and none of this is final until the bankruptcy court says so.Vista takes the ammo business. So now Vista (Federal, Blazer, CCI, Speer etc etc) and Olin (Winchester, Lake City) control all the big domestic ammo makers...

Dont worry they will find a way to make everything cheaper and with more injection molded plastics.Ruger hasn't made a lever gun since their Model 96, which wasn't a big seller.
Red label shotguns. They were over under style.Didn't ruger make a shotgun at one time?
Between the six guns, the newly acquired lever gun patents, and shotguns, they have themselves an all in one s.a.s.s. kit.
Purchased by this company:That's good news that Ruger bought Marlin. What will happen to the actual Remington brand?
