Renewing LTC-A in Reading, MA

Going for my renewal in Reading, MA. Anyone with recent experience with the Reading PD? Any tips for getting an "ALP"?

This will be my 2nd renewal, first issued LTC-A "Target & Hunting" in Medford then re-upped in Canton with the same restrictions.
Both licensing officers told me that they'd change it to "All Lawful Purposes" on the renewal, but I've since moved out of town before expiration. SOP for all licensing authorities?

There are plenty of non-crap towns in MA (read, green) that have what you want.
