Quick clarification on MA AWB?

AW has to have been in AW config on 9/13/94 but there is no requirement for it to have been in state at that time. Right?

Correct. You can purchase a pre-ban gun and have it transfered to yourself through an FFL, and still be in compliance of the MA AWB!

Tell me about it... If you want pre-ban mags, get them from out of state.. I was just able to get 14 slightly used 30 round mags for $100 shipped!

Cool! I was more asking about already owning a preban gun that is in out of state storage at this time. Or several.

Just to be clear, we're talking about long arms that are regulated by the Assault Weapons Ban in Mass.

Handguns transferred through FFLs in Mass are subject to a whole separate set of regulations and AG's that like to get their picture in the paper.
