P320 grip questions

So I have a regular p320c. Picked up a X-Mod grip compact and I went to sig and replaced all the buttplates to the updated ones with the slim ears. I put everything together and the mag wont catch it fits flush but wont catch. I have both 10 and 15 round mags and no luck. Anyone have this issue or advice on this. Thanks.

I know that there two different styles of magazines. That may be the problem

The compact will work if you have the base plate with the round SIG logo. I had the same issue as you.

I got them already from the academy and still dont work. Its like the mag is to short.

Are you sure it is the compact and not the carry? The carry accepts full-size mags.
I have the X-Carry grip and it works with my compact mags.

Cut the ears off with a razor knife. Worked for me.

You have the X-Carry grip which will need a full size mag. The other poster who have the 21 round mag will always work. If you need conformation, give Sig a call, they will confirm.

The academy pro shop has the full size 10rd mags. I believe they are $35 ea but as Rich said, the compact 10rd mags won't fit because the magazine isn't long enough to fit. The X Carry grip module has the compact length slide but a full size length grip.

Awesome glad it worked out. I find that the Sig flat trigger feels better than the Apex trigger to me. Enjoy.

Man, why cant the P365 have a flat trigger that rests in that position. I dislike how angled forward the P365 flat trigger rests. Nice set up!
