No charges for "Meet the Press" host Gregory for displaying high-capacity magazine

[angry2]
"Influencing our judgment in this case, among other things, is our recognition that the intent of the temporary possession and short display of the magazine was to promote the First Amendment purpose of informing an ongoing public debate about firearms policy in the United States, especially while this subject was foremost in the minds of the public" after the shooting and President Barack Obama's address to the nation, the letter said.

[thinking][thinking]Hypothetical Question...... If Piers Morgan decides to do an undercover story for his TV show that reveals the seedy dark side of undergrond porn, and somehow is able to infiltrate and participate in an 8MM snuff movie about the tragic story of a 14 Y.O. homeless oriental boy, and the short, temporary, climatic 10 second scene is filmed in front of the White House as the Presidents' children are about to get of the amored school bus...this would be OK????, because it was intended to promote the First Amendment purpose of informing an ongoing public debate about child pornography???[hmmm][hmmm]

If YES...Derek, I would like to volunteer as the first official news reporter for NES News....where do i get my Media-I am better that yous people badge??
My first story would be about the Myth of "Open Carry with a Glock Fortay--is it OK in NH?[smile][smile][smile]

Someone that has gotten charged/convicted, a minority would be nice, must files charges against the city for selective prosecution. Get the ACLU involved (let them do something worthwhile for a change), discrimination, profiling could all be part of the law suit.

The mere appearance of discrimination, and some media coverage would be sweet.

Child porn/snuff is a bad example,a s the legal theory behind outlawing that stuff is it cannot be created without a victim.

A better comparison would be if an NRA rep held up a 30 rounder at a DC interview and said "This metal box is harmless".

David Gregory and wife knew D.C. Attorney General

It further undermines public confidence in such decisions to find out that Nathan knew Gregory and his wife, high-powered attorney Beth Wilkinson.

Anne dug up the connection in which in 2011 Nathan and Wilkinson participated together in a charity mock trial for the Washington, D.C. Shakespeare Theatre Company

Want to get under this guy's skin? Start referring to him as Baghdad Bob on State media. If we would all start doing this on all the comment boards concerning him, it would get back to him. Nothing a "reporter" covets more than their reputation. Just make him out to be a mouthpiece every chance you get.

Disgusting. DC arrested 105 people for large capacity magazine "violations", IIRC, and most of them got screwed. This is just wrong. The only interest they are all serving is their own.

There's a move afoot in DC. Emily Miller of The Washington Times is helping to review these 105 cases and possibly sue for relief on the gounds of selective prosecution / ignoring the due process.

Any progress?
