New Ruger 5.7 Absolutely Useless in Mass

I'd love to get a PS90 for the range, but man, that 10/50 mag would be a constant reminder of it being crippled. I suppose the same would go for any of the pistols.

But the ammo is expensive and ballistics don't really justify it with civilian ammo. However, I did come across this website that has some rather interesting looking 5.7x28 rounds. Are these kosher in MA (assuming you're filthy rich to buy it)?

Solid copper pistole bullets are banned for civilian use at the Fed level because they are considered “armor piercing”.

Wasn’t thinking straight, pure copper is fine.

(i) a projectile or projectile core which may be used in a handgun and which is constructed entirely (excluding the presence of traces of other substances) from one or a combination of tungsten alloys, steel, iron, brass, bronze, beryllium copper, or depleted uranium;

Correction: Pure copper is OK, beryllium copper is the no-no

Oh, I didn't realize these depleted uranium rounds were illegal. Damn and I got a good deal too; they were barely more expensive than 9mm tula are these days.
