New LTC-A is activated but not mailed to the local PD yet?

This is my first LTC-A, called the DCJIS, they said my card is activated but not yet mailed out to local PD.

I'm trying to stay patient, I have a fellow NES member holding a firearm for me, trying not to delay too much.

Any guess/ideas on time line from here.

If you put from what town your from,someone from that town might jump in, and give you an idea on how they run.

Mine was active and dated (or maybe backdated?) within the 40 days and then took two weeks to go from Boston to central Mass.

Then add the time the PD sits on it. That time varies greatly, from none to when we get around to it.

Oh it's probably there...they just "haven't seen it yet".
