You forgot option 3- none of this matters, there's far worse things to be concerned about vs the price of some clapped out 2nd gen that DTE ses for 2.5x what it's worth.

If this goes through, why do you think they’ll stop there and keep transfers/sales of Gen2‘s “legal”.

The way it’s all worded is you had to have possession prior… so it seems sales/transfers of any pre ban won’t be allowed either… if you’re complying with this trash

A little off topic, but why doesnt there seem to be any Gen 1 Glocks?

Not a lot of guns and weirdo collectors seem to be keeping them as binkeys now. The production run for gen1s wasn't nearly as big as the ones that followed.

Also for awhile resale on those were shit, so IMHO most people that have Gen1s just keep them "cuz its cool" and "cuz its not worth selling it, rather have this old thing around" stuff.

Remember the gen 1 glock thread where he was so proud he got it for like 700? Lol

Because plastic and time aren't friends
The only possible exception to that is my friend's early 1970s vintage Nylon 66. He bought that thing when the Partridge Family and All In The Family were the current sitcoms. That gun ate up and spit out more .22LR ammo than any rifle that I know of. Still running just great!
