A better way to word it might be, out of this list what do you prefer?
It comes down to features, quality, price otherwise and we could go around and around on "the best" AR. Lots of them on this list are great rifles that I couldn't justify spending the $$ on because I feel they aren't any better than what I build for less.
Likely just range use.
Despite the jUsT aS gOoD mantra that follows around some lower end brands i tend to agree. Most lowers are probably good to go for most purposes, but there is something special in my experience about a complete rifle from a bougie manufacturer.I never understood the obsession with special lowers, unless they had some design you wanted. Mil-spec is mil-spec. They're all the f***ing same to me.
I'm looking forward to the day we can get poverty ponies already set up for ambi controls. At this point I find it hard to believe the markets not there.I like the ambi features of the bolt release on the sr25, and mega arms lowers for the AR10.
I prefer it to the magpul bad lever

That makes perfect sense. If I were in that position I'm sure I'd make the same decision.I actually avoid ambi controls on ARs, because I handle enough ARs/M4s/M16s without ambi safeties (and cannot change them) that I don’t want to get into habits that don’t translate. But I realize I’m probably in the minority.
I would go with JP rifles over any of those
