New Aquisitions for September 2011

September was a good month. I finally got two items which I have been waiting very long for. I got the Magpul MOE+ Grips which I've been waiting almost 3 years for their release. Held one at shot Show 2009 and fell in love with it. And after 10 months of paperwork and bullshit I finally got my Knights Armament QDSS-NT4 Suppressor. In the end both items were worth the wait.

Picked up this Ruger MK II 10" barrel. A steal at $249. Then found the Volquartsen grips in the gun shop used grip box for $5. A good day!

Not a gun, but going to love it just as much for the current Fall tuna run going on:

Okuma Makaira 80wII w/ 1100 yards of 200lb line. LOVE IT. Going to find a gun in the safe to sell to buy a second one.

One of my friends is sponsored by Okuma. They may some good stuff.

Nope, I'm pretty sure he got BR hooked up with them. [wink]

Hah, ok. You're in the game too. That's who I was thinking. Wish I could be sponsored, those things are expensive. Although, aside from this model of Okuma reel, I'm not really a fan of any of their products. It wasn't until these were developed and designed in conjunction with Tiburon that Okuma finally put out a product that compares to what's out there at a semi-reasonable price.

Very Nice Juergen.... what is the gun in the top left corner? One of the Walthers?

See 'em soon in the "porn" thread[laugh]

Thank you... I should have been able to notice what it was, it must have been the camera angle. I was worried there was a new gun I did not know about and needed to get. But the Z I have .... :) You have plenty I do not have.... I have been searching for a CZ 24 for a while. Thanks for sharing.

Finally got it to work! As for the rifle, its an all matching 54' Izzy SKS. The Marlboro show was good to me today. This rifle filled a void in my collection!

You are so lucky. if the computer hadn't given me so much trouble I would have grabbed that. Why did I tell you you were finished helping us set up. I should have gone for a walk around[wink]..DARN, sure pretty[cheers]

Might be worth a call to Allstead Gun Shop. The last two times I've been up there there was a CZ in the back of the bottom case. It never interested me enough to ask to see it, but it very well may have been a 24.
