New Acquisitions September 2018

Blows my mind that they can keep those RMR's working for any length of time. The instantaneous back-and-forth-and -coming-to-a-dead-stop ride on a semi auto pistol slide has gotta be hell on anything mechanical or electronic.

This is a rare blank slide variation of the M34 Beretta produced after the fall of the Mussolini government and the surrender of Italy. This variation is in the G block and was produced from July-August of 1943. Pistols were needed, and Beretta stayed in production until they knew what to stamp on the slide once the politics were settled. Commercial proofs. Finish at 95% or better.

Lanyard ring protrudes far beyond the grip, making it hard to shoot as I'm a lefty and it digs into my palm.

I just put it into the WTS for those who liked it....I can't really use it effectively as a lefty. 9/18

Just picked this up from Merrimack Firearms:

Brand new Marlin 336C 30-30....from Grabagun. For some reason they knocked the price down to 430 from 520, so I so I jumped on it.
I was looking at a used older one with some issues for 500, but I've got no problem with the new Remlins, the quality on the 1895 I just bought is excellent and the wood was beautiful, actually nicer walnut than I've seen on any of the older ones. Why not buy new in the box for cheaper with a full warranty.

At some point I'll be getting the 1894 in 44 mag.

No pic. Grabbed a Tavor X95 last week. Waiting for a Romeo 5 to come in this week for it.

Of course, my truck is still in the shop and BOTH my gun club widgets are in the center console. So I'm SOL either way until then. LOL
I'm thinking seriously of picking one up, comments please.

There's a reason they're like $500 or whatever.

This isn't new tech tho either, people have been using things like Docters and so on, in this kind of service since like 10+ years ago, it only became in "tactical vogue" to set these things up once trainers and stuff starting messing with them and hawking the advantages.

Romeo5 came in on Saturday. Nice red dot. It's so nice to see reasonably priced durable optics out there.

Will do. Just got my truck back so now I have my range passes again. LOL

Now I need to find some time to get to the range.

Well, I was able to shoot a roughly 2" 5-round group of .223 at 50 yards out of my 7.5" AR pistol while using it. So there's that.

It's a red dot. It's small-ish. It works. It's cheap and still on-sale-ish from Brownells for $129.99. What more do you need?

thanks, Four Seasons website says they have a Vortex optic for the X95.

After a year of waiting, EWK Arms finally made more muzzle brakes for Dan Wesson revolvers. Had one for my 44 mag but not for my 357, until it arrived today. Gave it a quick test at the range earlier.

The muzzle flash from my 125 gr reloads were too much for the fiber optic rod! Burnt the end. Didn’t run into this with my 44 brake for some reason.

Picked up an M!A at a great price this month A little research showed it to be made "in the golden age of M1A's" and turned out to be a National Match. Sight's Barrel and bedded. Yay Me!
