New Acquisitions for October 2009!

New upper for my SP1 Lower

20" stainless 1/8 HBAR with A2 Flash Suppressor
YHM Lightweight Rail
Daniel Defense Large hole flat top upper
Matched Bolt

This upper is tremendous, broke it in over the weekend and shot 1.5 inch groups in the rain at 100 yards without even breaking a sweat, John Lawlor of Remsport built it up for me, if you guys need anything for your AR, I highly recommend John/Remsport.

Crappy pic. (edited- new pics - a little better)

S&W 65-2 4" .357 Last of the Pinned and Recessed. New grips are coming. Had on the Pachmayer giant presentation grips that are simply just too huge.

Colt 1991A1 Compact. Finish could use help but feels nice and functions great.

Picked up a full size M&P .40 from a member on here with a Derr trigger job.
Took it to the range tonight and put 200rds through it, had no problems at all and the trigger is not bad. A lot better than the stock trigger.

It's a SA 1911 Mil-Spec, .45. Had a nice and easy transaction at Tite Group Shooting (across from GOAL HQ) from a fellow NESer, who was kind enough to hold the gun long enough for my license to arrive (which took longer than I had expected...)

Here it is with my girlfriend's first (an August purchase that never made it here), a S&W 659:

Now I just have to get out to the range!

Well I'll think I'll end the month with this little old thing!!

A colt 1903 32 auto unfired.

was stripped to white and engraved.

Tem given a 24 kt gold bath and the mag also.

To dress it up a little more a pair of aged ivory grips with the colt pony was added.

The work was done by John J. Adams,Sr -

In house Engraver for Colt for 40 years!!

Enjoy.

That sucks! Someone Bubba'ed a perfectly good Colt!

Just kiddin' Fred.[laugh] I would expect nothing less in your collection and I'm sure it sits right next to a perfectly preserved original version.

You failed to mention that beauty today when we were talking at Fitchburg.[grin]
